That is your EVAP purge valve and no you can’t delete it…you won’t pass your yearly inspection without it.

I thought that was more hidden out of the way did you have to move it because of the vacuum pump?

If you delete it the check engine light WILL illuminate…you will need someone with HP Tuners to have the MIL not illuminate or set a DTC.

It's easy to cut it back so it's just on the driver's side and not crawling across the throttle body.

Looks like you could even make a little bracket by alternator and mount it there.

What county are you in that doesn’t do emissions testing in 2025?

Yes you can remove them in general. I’ve done it on other cars. I am sure you will get a code
though.

Why do you want to remove it though exactly?

Most counties in the US do not have any type of emissions testing.

I did not realize that 42/67 counties in PA still do not require this. I guess not all counties care about the environment. Lol
Moving to one of those counties is in my future.

Default Emissions and e85

So out here in PA E85 is regularly available and the car does not have any smell or smoke. Runs nice and cleane and obviously makes more power! 👍🏻👊🏻🏁🏁
