I wanted to get other people’s opinions on if the way my car sounds is normal after installing longtube headers. I feel like it started making a chirp/ crickets sounds after installing a set of speed engineering longtube headers and X-pipe.
I feel like I can only hear it at idle, if I give it some throttle it seems to go away. Does this sound normal to everyone else?
Can't hear anything with that much lope. Sounds normal for a big cam LS.
Long tubes can make some strange, weird sounds since they are thinner than manifolds. They also tend to magnify the sound of lifters as well but it's normal.
