There might have been a dyno pull at some point on a C6...
I'm not saying where, and I'm not saying who... I'm not even saying it really happened. But if it did here is what someone might say about it who did the dyno.
Well, if we did, which I'm not saying we did, it would have made 360 RWHP, which is right in line with the best stock Z06 we have seen. The torque was about 30-40 RWTQ better then the current Z06 throughout the power band!!

Well, if it did happen which we don't know, and if it was a C6 again speculation of course. Could it have been z51 or would it have been base!
Exactly, how is this a comparison for the C6? It isnt. Thats a chart for the GTO and not a C6, any one else comparing apples and oranges...
It's the same engine other than maybe some integration parts such as the inlet and exhaust systems, and both have the same SAE net torque and power ratings, which is "as installed" in the vehicle with all front end accessories and the production inlet and exhaust systems.

It's apples and apples!
Duke
Not so fast the exhaust system on a GTO and C6 are different. It is not an apples to apples test. The engine in both vehicles is the same but not the exhaust system. I predict the C6 to be at least 10-15 rwhp more than the GTO. Oh yeah and the induction system on both cars is very different take a look at both of them sometime.
Get a clue! SAE net power is "as installed". The GTO and C6 inlet and exhaust systems may be different, but if their loss is the same SAE net power will be the same, and they are both rated at 400 HP.
The only difference might be in drivetrain or tire loss, but within a percent or two they are going to average the same RWHP, and 350 RWHP is right in line with a 400 HP SAE net rating at the flywheel. The LS6 averages about 355.
Hey Duke,
Calm down with the attitude !
I've asked you nicely before on other threads.
We all love the corvette.
We all benefit form each each other's information and opinions.
Be nice, please.
