vortex vs blackwing intakes

vortex vs blackwing intakes
Is it generally accepted that the Cold Air Intake of the Vortex give better performance figures vs a Blackwing type of intake? Theres more work in installing the Vortex system and am not sure if its worth the extra effort over the Blackwing type.

both are good and an improvement over stock...Vortex ram air just adds a little "extra" once your moving benefiting from drawing in some cooler outside air.....you'll like either.

Average posted gains on the C5 were around 16 for the Blackwing and 22 for the Vortex. The difference is the cold air of the Vortex. The other difference is that you never hear about Blackwing owners blowing up their engines when they hit deep puddles.
