ProCharged? We ran a 5" on our shop car. Didn't run it with a standard set up so I can't say for sure what actual gains were from it.

Cordes Performance is doing them for the Z. The one they are doing on my car is for a new 2300 SC though. Custom airbox and all. The finish looks amazing. Talk to Joe there and let him know what you are needing and he will work to make it happen. He states his intake made 25 rwhp over the AFE but I don't have the details on what other mods were on that car. I will keep you posted when my car gets done.

WEAPON-X 5" Carbon Intake:
https://weaponxmotorsports.com/produ...14262444851249

Joe, our 3D printed version is available now; however, the carbon fiber full production version will be here next month! The cost is higher now because the 3D printed carbon filament is more; however, you cannot be it or carbon fiber for that matter for IATs.

lol and behold the billlet mold is complete too... the definition of precision

I have the weapon x on my zl1 and after I have done changes and repairs to it multiple times it now is working well. I will say the 5 inch systems are much better as flow more on these higher hp builds. I can tell you right now that maf block is most likely j b welded to the carbon fiber and will break off the weapon x one and you can **** and moan about it and get no help. It will also include a shitty little Chinese filter of some sort. I have had to fix a leaking maf block as I stated, replace the tiny filter that came with my kit and fix a leaking clean side fitting port they used a cheesy plastic fitting on. The filter they sent while small also was so tight you practically had to crush the carbon fiber to get it to fit over it Also the box or heat shield it came with had to be bent a lot to line up to the mounting points. Id been better off building my own and now see rotofab has a very nice setup for camaros. So my whole point was to say going from the typical 4 inch system to a 5 inch is worth a good 20whp I have seen it now on a few zl1s that buddies have that I tune for. I have got as much as 30whp on a higher hp build. I just got my bolt on zl1 into the 9s on stock cam heads and blower so im not just some stalker from the camaro pages..lol I come here do do research and like to help with the experiences I have had good or bad to save others from grief or share what works well.

Lt1z350, you and I have interacted on the tuning forum several times. Glad to have you here, and for everyone else, he’s not a stalker LOL.
