It has already been said that a true concept has been designed by GM, and a picture of it is hidden at the NCM...just as the proto C6 picture was placed at the NCM a year or so before the C6 was announced, and I believe just as the C5 was.

The rear overhang is shortened up in that spy photo. Front's are probably 20's, rears are at a minimum, 22's. Front wheel arch is also more pronounced. Also, the wheel track on that Autmobile X is wider than a C6 at that angle.
Very reminiscent of a Gallardo.
Most definitely a prototype, and if that C7 sketch is any indication, then the rough shape will be known. That C7 is going to be one low slung car.

that is a c7 concept and i want to get a c7 now. i think the c7 will come out in 2012 as a 2013 model. i think the c6 has 4 more years left. 09-12. at the earliest in 2011 as 2012 model.
having this car in the movie will generate a huge buzz for gm and corvette and people will run out and buy the c6
i saw pics of the concept camaro and challenger 3 yrs before its release, also pics of the gtr concept were released 5 yrs or more before the cars release
the movie will come out in 2009, the 2010 c6s will be coming out and then just 3 years of hype and well be ready 2013 c7.
