Boy, tough crowd. No offical C7 pics, and people already hate the styling. (how is that possisble) Bitching about panel gaps and the pre-production prototypes are not even built yet.......... geesh.
The new porsche is cool, The boxster S, i drove was one of the best handling cars, i ever driven. 2nd only to F430F1. Now, if the cayman/boxster had another 50HP. I might just sell my z06 to buy one.
I don't expect any offical C7 pics, for at least a year. Just relax guys, its coming.
Just wait until the tough crowd turns into the tire kicker crowd for the first few model years of the C7. Don't let it bother you, just grab some popcorn.
SEMA is just a couple of weeks away; we'll see what GM puts out there, my guess, nothing on the C7!
Yup. Went straight to the GM Booth. They said that they did'nt have a clue about the C7. Top Secret. Asked three different guys there, and got NOTHING! No clues or hints anywhere in SEMA.....Hardly any Corvettes there either. Mostly '63 w/ C6 drivetrains.........Camaros has taken over.........
As for me, I can wait without getting too anxious. First, I am enjoying the hell out of my '10 Z06. As an aside, if the C7 engine does end up in the 5.3 to 5.5 liter range, I wouldn't consider that "slightly smaller" than the LS7.
Whenever the C7 does appear, they would not roll out a Z version to the following year anyway, so that gets us to maybe, 2015 - long time from now.
In any case, as many have said previously,if for some reason the C7 does not resonate with me, I have lots of choices starting with seriously modding my '10. The Caymen is definitely a possibility and I am seriously interested in checking out the new 2 seater Jag prototype if and when it becomes a reality. That car is drop dead gorgeeous with an intriguing hybrid power scheme that may produce serious performance. Just, a personal preference, but the GTR doesn't work for me.
In any case, I ma happy to sit back, enjoy what I have and look forward to some very intriguing future possibilities. It's all good!
