Anyone that did know would be a fool to divulge any ispecific information.
What I can tell you is that anyone with privileged information and
choose to divulge it would be met with a firestorm of legal problems.

You make it sound like some covert operation or something. I guarantee that there are people in BG, working on the line, that are walking around with cell phone pics of the C7 as we speak. They have already started to run a few C7's down certain parts of the assembly line to check for production issues and programming concerns. 2014 isn't that far away when you consider they will be released in September 2013. Getting the assembly plant ready for production is very time consuming.
Some of you guys are funny...it's simply a drawing and people are commenting how it copies this or that or that they don't like it. Wait until the car actually comes out and we see it in real life. When the C5 came out, I felt that there was no better way to go with the design of the car for the next generation and then the C6 came out even better!
Also, this picture made our local news (Detroit Area)...so there must be some truth to it.
Very interesting in deed. However I would be surprized if this is it. I'm interested in seeing the interior more than anything else. Time will tell!!!!!
Spoke with a GM rep. the other day. When ask about the C7, all he said was "GM doesn't think there will be a run on the last year C6 when consumers see the C7". If this one is truly it, I think he may be wrong. Of course, I have never seen any car built for production that looks exactly like the artist renderings.
1. The butt is too big. And too Camaro-esque
2. Rest of the car look a lot like a C6.
3. With exception of the too-big and too Camaro-esque butt, it's attractive.
4. Not as big of a change from C6 as I would expect.

You are correct.
There are plant workers that know, Vendors that know, Suppliers that know, but everyone concerned has signed confidentiality agreements.
You don't see anyone posting up that privileged info here, or anywhere else for that matter.
Everything posted in this and the other thread is pure speculation, and bad speculation at that...

Myth. Nobody signs anything (as far as plant workers). They choose not to publicly post things because it wouldn't be that hard to trace the photos back to that person. I see future builds but why risk my job to share pics? That being said, maybe a few close friends might have seen them just like a few people in BG have. In a few rare cases, security guards have walked the vehicles through to make sure photos aren't taken but that's very rare.
I like direct injection; I don't much care for that 8-6-4 cylinder thing though (it's got some GM name thingy). Forget style. Let's talk engineering and 40 mpg plus sub-4 second times.

Well, the author of the japlopnik article claims he and his artist actually touched the C7 and that the drawings are of what they saw. If they are lying, then it'll come out eventually.
