The comments are very interesting, and uniformly very negative. And these are not Forum members, just the general public, it seems. GM may have a major disaster on its hands.

Go to Chevrolet's Facebook and Twitter...Raving fans are there with tons of great comments

Nah. Just a bad rendering. Car will be much better. Compare the nose to the line drawing from the repair manual. It's way off.

I've been looking at a couple of the spy photos, and where the vinyl camo covers the back, you can clearly see a round red lens for the outside locations and a round clear lens inside of those. Now, it could be that particular mule is a C6 with C7 drivetrain. But, I tried to see the same detail elsewhere, and while I couldn't see it in quite as much of a tight-in detail as the one shot, it sure looks like they might all actually be round, just in a different layout than the C5-C6. Sorta like: O O -------- O O which certainly wouldn't be nearly as terrible as the red sideways teardrop with the blacked-out area around the thing, or a flattop Camaro-style lens as in some of the renderings. I'm talking about an actual photograph now, NOT a @#$%^&* drawing! Hope I'm right!!! Merry Christmas,

You are not. See threads here with latest (yesterday) Jalopnik (CF first) images.
I think the LED's are round in a rectangle. They make look round after dark. Or different parts of the rectangle have different LED's . Sometimes you just have to think out side of the rectangle.
