I'm a solid A for the Coupe and I like the red one. It looks very different and alive and aggressive. Great job.
Only a B for the Vert (until I get a chance to see it in person - definitely looks better with the top down but don't they all)?

Never recall seeing 'scoring' before that was so color sensitive - but I have to agree.
B+ in dark colors C+ in light colors
And well all know that dark colors tend to hide or mask angles and design details, and provide less contrast to non-body-color features. Interesting results . . .

A-A+. Just a very few minor quips not worth mentioning. It also goes without saying that a year from now pretty much everyone else that likes Corvettes is going to love it also, except of course a very small vocal minority that will continue to yell out their opinions that no one cares about or even listens to anymore.

I don't think these poll results have anything to do with people being color sensitive (and I agree that people are). I think what you are seeing is almost a uniform higher rating for the dark colors - and as I said previously, I further believe that is because the dark colors hide or mask some of the design features, angles and contrasts. That is a very telling result

C - GM's lack of information about the complete car is BS, displaying unfinished cars at shows is just poor marketing!
I have not seen it in person, but the base model really doesn't impress me. Neither did the base model C6, but I bought the C6 Z06 because it kicksass, so I am hoping the C7 Z's do the same, or I'll just keep what I have and get something else later. There are some things I do like about the new design, just not all of it for 70K+
The base C7 has some MAJOR design issues I don't care for that seem so simple, butt Y GM Y? Listen to what the customers are saying and change a few things before production!

Seen it in person. In Cyber Grey.
A- for front, sides new roof/hatch and b pillar/halo design. Cove vent behind the front wheel is the only thing I do not love. The vent is too long. Stingray logos got to go also poorly done. Looks like a guitar.
D+ for the rear end. Would look great on another car but does not fit this otherwise awesome design. Just a mess of too many shapes and colors and the weird bisecting of the entire thing right in the middle baffles me.

The results may be 'slightly skewed' due to the fact this is a CORVETTE FORUM - just sayin - not bashing

What I've asked for is specifically graded personal opinions. This is not a question about what you think everyone else thinks, just simply your combined grade for the complete design package. The "big picture" looks different from any corner, and belongs in another thread...

C+ due to design flop on rear and how easy it would have been to avoid. From the back of the rear wheel forward A+, for the rear: F.

What you have are a bunch of opinions from people that are reading the forum at work, some that don't know how to work, some that just don't have anything else to do right now - me included, nothing more and nothing less!
