Sure they will, not like anyone around here uses logic and reading comprehension but yeah, there is no way GM would twist anything and misreseprent the truth. After all, Tadge already decleared that car is heavy to increase fuel economy and the entire flock readily bought into it... Not like you are going to be there when they dono the motor to make sure you know what fuel they use, and this is just for starters
So, I guess that would include you? Or are you the only exception? Evidently not, at least for spelling/spell check....
"decleared" - is that the opposite of clearing up something?
"dono" the motor? I 'dunno' what the final output ratings will be - and neither do you.

"Old School" maybe. Not old (45). I've had some fast Camaros for sure. I wasn't disagreeing, just found it funny after those other guys were busting their chops about spelling. Plus its funny how some guys blow up when you criticize the C7.

You misunderstand - it's not about the spelling per se; it's about funny mistakes from a guy who thinks he knows more than everybody else and seemingly thinks he is perfect.................

Im not that guy who thinks he's perfect...just saying.
I just admitted to falling for camaro on a vette forum...
i think this stuff is just marketing. i know myself and many others feel the ferrari f40 is the best supercar of all time. that's what? a 1990-1991 car?
the c5 is still very competitive on the track and while a bit "dated" if you have to have the latest and greatest, i doubt many will argue it's still a good drivers car
the c6 is no different, it's more or less an upgraded c5 but by no means "obsolete"
it's just marketing crap to get people to buy the new product
a nice c5z is 20k
a nice c6 coupe is 30k
a new c7 is going to be at least 50k
all comes down to what you want to spend
the one car i see taking a nose dive from the c7 is the grand sport. it's going to be difficult to ask those prices for a c6 coupe with a skirt when the c7 is so close
I know everything on the net is not true but maybe someone can get to te bottom of that.
Its confusing... One side of me says it cannot cost more than the top dog camaro with 580 hp and roughly 6.06lb pr HP...
And the other half says the LS7 is not much cheaper than the LS9 variant...add the carbon brakes that are like $10k+ and you know $50k plus is more like it.
As for mark up and rarity...zl1s are at every dealer

Camaro does not use LS9 motor, it uses a cheaper one, without forged and exotic hardware both LS7 and LS9 use. I am not sure if LSA is assembled the same way the other two motors are but seriously doubt this is the case... Hopefully this clarified the cost issues for you
