We have no idea what the (quantity, demand, cost, etc) = value. It is pretty much guesses from 40k - 55k for base at this point.

Not ridiculous at all, really. The only problem is that we don't know what the starting point is. All we can do is guess a pecentage point of whatever that starting point winds up being. There are probably more than a couple of us that either can't or don't want to buy new. My guess is that it will largely depend on if the car lives up to it's promises, how good will the higher performance models be, assuming a 2015 release. Probably the best indicator would be to revisit the market price for the '05 in '06, especially after the release of the Z06. In terms of percnetage, it may give us something to go on, when we learn the base number.
