Fairly Reliable Minimum HP

Technically you and other humpers are the actual liars claiming the motor will have more power and even issue guarantees on it, look in the mirror to see a liar.

"Corvette Stingray will be the most fuel-efficient car on the market to offer 450 horsepower......"
That's pretty easy to read and comprehend. Too bad you can't....
And you were bloviating about....what?

Tell me ole fortune teller , what does your crystal ball say the NPP will take the 450 HP LT1 to? Or do you read tea leaves?

Anyways, I finished having this argument quite a while ago. This thread is tagged, though. Before long, someone will be coming back to gloat, and someone will have mysteriously disappeared from this board.

But if it only puts out 450-460....you can damn well bet im gonna let the **** start flying, then we will see who stays around this forum!
.....
Given everything we know, I'm about as sure as I can be, but I suppose you can never be COMPLETELY sure of anything in this world other than your own existence... So I'd bet just about everything under the sun on it except maybe my life.
EDIT: And as long as we're spitting out numbers, my money is on 470+. I would consider myself epically, mind-blowingly wrong if it was anything under 460, even without NPP.

Well that is not of much interest to me. Factory power >>> modded power AFAIC.
Well I'm mostly talking about the baseline power figures.
Every group is different in how they handle beginners, but pretty much all will require an instructor to ride along, will do various drills to learn the line, the flags, where the flagstations are, how to give a point by, where the passing zones are, etc.
I definitely think a track day is something that a sports car owner should try at least once. It often takes many events before feeling comfortable, but going just once might be enough to decide if you ever want to go again.
Prices around my area range from $150 @ Thunderhill in a more crowded club (maybe 5, 20-minute sessions throughought the day) to $250 for less crowded day at Laguna Seca (maybe 4, 30-minute sessions with an open track at the end of the day).
Anyhow, definitely worth looking into, but will be very expensive if you end up liking it.
As far as the thread topic, I'm still thinking the HP will be around 470.
