UQT, Performance Data and Video Recorder with Forward Looking Camera?
Anyone have more info on this? I totally ordered it based on the workbook description alone. Think it'll make my GoPro camera obsolete?

What is the cost of this option? Did you order it with the base Stingray or the Z51 package?

Googling retrieves this and not much else - Performance Data Recorder: If equipped, the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) has an icon on the Home Page screen. The PDR records video, audio, and vehicle data. This data is stored on an SD Card accessible by the driver.

No idea what the cost is but I checked the box for it at the dealer anyway. I ordered a 3LT Z51.
I remember Keeks mentioning something about this option a few months ago.

I don't know how u can order something that is not on the order guide unless it is part of another package? Can anyone explain this, since I have heard of this feature off and on since the C7 was announced, yet I see nothing from Chevy!

Details for the PDR are not finalized and are not public yet and I can't discuss them. While it won't make your GoPro obsolete it is exactly what track rats will want for their car for HPDE events and Track Days...trust me on that.

+1. This option alone makes me have to buy the C7 on track.
As far as I know only the AMG C63 black series comes with data and no camera.
Between the Z51, Z28 and just this option I'm convinced GM is serious about building the Chevy brand on enthusiast once again.

Thanks for posting this I did not see this before and will consider it for my C7.
This will probably be mandated for all cars and have it recording all the time, would be useful to determine who is at fault in an accident.

This isn't really for that purpose. It isn't the "black box". That system is still in place but is not user accessible nor configurable. That is the Sensing and Diagnostic Module. It is tied to the airbag system.

There will be a Stingray in Panama City this coming weekend.
The bases of the competition seats and GT seats are the same (height for helmet) so both should give you an indication. Both are height adjustable. If you are bumping up to a 2LT car you will have adjustability for the width of the bolsters on both. The Competition seats are deeper at the bolsters and a little bit narrower. The Competition seats are firmer.
This option is confirmed but late availability as I understand it.
