These issues are exactly why those of us stuck in Nashville are so very very concerned about what is going on there.

Wow. That's looks like a bonehead miss. Hopefully it doesn't mean there is another car out there with a mis-matched pair of seats.

While this is an example of a cosmetic problem(not life threatening) what if a bolt that holds the suspension was not installed and not discovered until the car was involved in an accident some 1000 miles after the new owner took possession, because the suspension failed in a hard corner, because it was missing a cheap 10 cent bolt.

I've seen it happen on a new Camaro only a couple of weeks old.

On one trip I made to the Bowling Green plant, the cars were moving past each work station at approximately every three minutes. At one work station, the worker only made one electrical connection at the front of the car on the passenger side. Took him around 15-20 seconds. Then he walked over to a tall table, about two foot square, and propped one *** cheek on the edge of his tall stool, and proceeded to work on his book of crossword puzzles until the next C6 moved into his work station. He was oblivious to anything and everything that was going on around him, other then making a single electrical connection on each of 18 cars every hour, and his crossword puzzles.

C'mon, Joe, a what if? Really? That's not like you, but okay, I'll play. What if a really big meteor comes down on your house sometime in the future? Someone could be seriously killed.

I'm just being facetious, of course.

Why worry about something that may/may not happen? We could imagine all manner of horrors if we really wanted to. If a bolt comes loose, deal with that when (if) it happens. The matter at hand, though, is that a few people have had some (probably) minor problems that are easily corrected by a dealer. They aren't worthy of all the angst, handwringing and hyperbole going on here. Just take it in, get it corrected, move on.

I had a Camaro rental car that had a bad metal on metal rattle in the rear when I went over large bumps. I had visions of the suspension letting go in hard corner, and took the car back the same day. As I was heading over there, the "Service Tire Monitoring System" warning came on.

Maybe the line got out of sync, and they have to change the seats in every car.

I wonder how many of the negative posts in this thread are actually from C7 owners or those who have one on order?

It's a new launch of a car that has rocked the Automotive Sports Car world with it's design, features, and price. It has literally tens of thousands of individual parts. To have a part missing is yes, a disappointment but it can and will happen on occasion.

There is some great news as well, the car is under warranty and it will be taken care of by GM.

Mine is trying to move from 3300 to 3400 and while I hope it's perfect, I realize it's a complex process and 'stuff' happens as the bumper sticker say's. I'm not frantic except to receive it .

I suspect a lot of the negativity here is from people just chiming in that have no dog in the fight. Just sayin.......

I've seen updates on the "other" issue threads. OP, any update on yours? Did you figure out if you got the wrong seat, or if the emblem was just missing?

Update on this seat emblem problem. Took it to the dealer. They ordered another seat cover. It came in with no emblem on it. They put in a trouble ticket and got back the answer that my car is only suppose to have one seat cover with an emblem. So I called Chevrolet help line and they are looking into the problem. Seems like Mr Kim that said my car is only suppose to have one seat emblem needs fired or my car is a very rare 1.5 LT edition. LOL

So you did verify you have a heated/cooled seat, it's just missing its emblem? Let us know once it's resolved.

Have you asked other's that have new C7's if their passenger seat has the emblem?

Yes all other 2LT's I have seen in person have both emblems and yes the seat does have the heating and cooling in it. So the issue is just the wrong seat cover. The Dealer has the new one on order now.
