Im in the SG VALLEY its hit or miss. Had the tint on for 3 months now - in LA maybe 2-3 times a month. At night so never ran into day cops.

Most everyone I tell what I did wonder why the factory didn't do that, and that I had a lot of guts to do that to a 2 day old car.

I'm in CA and did mine a year ago as soon as I bought it. Had 35% done all the way around and also had my windshield done with clear (77% or so). I have had 35% on four cars now spanning 12 years and have never been pulled over for tint. Even though it is technically illegal it would take a real ***** of a cop to pull you over just for 35% tint. The purpose of the law is so an LEO can see inside your car as he approaches. As soon as you go to 25% or below I think your odds of getting pulled over will increase.

I also was considering ordering an Arctic White C7 but seeing how the Blade Sliver exterior colour makes the lines stand out better on the C7. Now what colour for interior Adrenaline Red or Kalahari? Congrats on your purchase Happy Motoring.

If you like the Blade Silver exterior with black accents, consider black wheels, black hood stinger and transparent top (which looks black). Build one on Chevrolet.com and you can see how it looks.
