C7 vs 458
And, the Nav is a joke. $3500 and a $400 Tom Tom is far superior.
But, no car is perfect. The biggest complaint of Ferrari owners? The quality of the paint.
Sound familiar?

Number 2, the completely confusing radio and poor quality of the system even if you pay for the $10 grand upgrade. In 2013, they still didn't have streaming Bluetooth and practically none of the features of the C7's audio entertainment system.
My point is that every car has some kind of compromise. As a Daily Driver, the 458 is rather poor. The C7 could be more like the 458 but then it would be less appealing to me as it would be less of a Daily Driver.

The upgraded audio is $5k, not 10k, according to this thread:

Seems like plenty are satisfied with it. It doesn't do everything the C7 system does, but is the reverse true (6-disc CD and hi-fi DVD audio capability, plus 30Gb of hard drive storage in the C7)?
Quality of paint may be the biggest complaint, but that doesn't mean its magnitude is the same. It could still be minor compared to paint complaints we've been seeing in the C7 (plus obvious panel gap problems). In any event, Ferrari never sells because it comes with great equipment as standard; we're talking about a car that still lists cruise control as an option
. It doesn't really sell on practicality (though available front end lift kit, f&r parking sensors, and better outward vision due to a lower cowl should aid in daily driving practicality). The front-engined GTs (California, F12, FF) are designed for that.
The 7:49 Ring lap time for the Z06 dates all the way back to 2007, was put down by the Editor of a German car magazine. Moreover it was completed on the horrible Goodyear Fun Flat tires of the day.
