I ordered and tried it - did not work - detector was in the wrong position.

I have a V1 and it works great. make sure you get the C7 model it has been modified and has a deeper cutout than the C6 model.

RE: the Escort MAX ... Escort cautions about mounting too high. The MAX feeds and receives GPS info so the detector needs a clear shot vertical.
I mount mine with the Escort sticky cup and the cord neatly wraps around and through the passenger center handle to the power. Easy to remove. Escort MAX and 9500xi shut off automatically after 4 hours

Speaking of radar detectors, has anyone else noticed the www.dashtronix.com website is down & has been for a couple of day?

They don't answer emails, phone calls, & website is down... Are they still in business?

The dashtronix link goes to GoDaddy and you can buy the domain name so I'm thinking they are dead and buried as far as a business.

I have one of their visor mounts in my C6. Love it since it conceals my Valentine One but still provides excellent range!
Am using Great Lakes mirror mount for my V-1, so far, works great. But will have to wait till Summer to see if the industrial adhesive will hold in the FL sun.

That is my worry too. Florida rapes glue things.
