No easy power supply for mirror mount can't use mirror wire at all wrong amps, need to go to fuse #37 many write-up's on this.

Geeez, I am sorry about that! I have it on my Expedition and Gallardo. It is a generic mount so I am not sure how it could not work but I am sure they would know. Here is the link to the company that makes the mirror mount specifically for the C7:

I have one of their visor mounts in my C6. Love it since it conceals my Valentine One but still provides excellent range!

With the incorrect power on the mirror, will just velcro to the dash, till someone finds a "easy" wire solution without taking the dash or anything big apart.Yes i hate wire to show but no way will i have someone take the dash apart.

Just take a credit card and push the wire up under the panel that runs from the dash to the roof. Then, use the credit card to push the wire back inside the headliner where the roof meets the windshield. Easy peasy!

My Escort 9500 came with that thick curly cord with the cig lighter mount. Who sells that thin stuff you are talking about?

I have the mirror mount in my C7 and it works fine. It doesn't fit flush against the mirror like the blendmount but since there isn't a blendmount available for the C7 yet it will have to do.

Where did you wire it to?

Sorry. I should have mentioned I have the mirror mount for Valentine 1. I think the way it attaches to the mirror is the same. wiring is tucked into the trim around the windshield.

I understand that, but where did you get power from? Did you run it to the rear fuse panel like many others have? Thanks
