actually , I don't doubt that one bit. But, I'm not liking wiping-down a car after I just went through the effort of hand washing it; and the MasterBlaster does get the job done; in it's own relm.
But it is not a gimmick It's a real piece of machinery, that works well.
Saying the MB is a gimmick - is like saying a snow thrower is a gimmick; and that a shovel is the only real way to remove snow.
I bought one the day I got my Black C7 and I'm not too keen on it. I've only used it a few times but I find it takes much longer to dry the car with the Master Blaster than with a few high quality absorbent MF towels. Using the MB I just seem to blow the water from one panel to the next and it is extremely loud. It is great at getting the water out of the mirrors and cracks and wheels but it's basically a hassle to use.
I can dry the whole car in 3 minutes with MF towels but takes over 30 minutes with the MB. Maybe I don't have an efficient process established yet but it just takes too long for me to use. The hose is not very flexible and it blows my circuit breakers with both switches on. It is a very high quality made product though.
You need a higher guage electrical wire run into your garage outlet. I would pop the circuit breaker every time I turned on the second motor until I had a separate circuit run into my attached garage.
So after reading everyone on here say that they love it, I ordered one last night. As well as a foam cannon. Maybe finally I can detail a car the way I have always wanted too.

Afraid that's how I would like it!
I hand dry mine. Using a Absorber. I seldom wash at home. I use the hand car wash. IT gets the under side.
At home with just a garden hose you don't really clean the underside
of the car. With out the power washer. Which is just as important than the top.

Now you're cookin with gas. I have dried my every way possible and the master blaster is where it's at. Hands down the best.
I gave mine its first thorough wash and detail yesterday. I've been using the Master Blaster for years and like it. With the C7 it is even more helpful. Drying the hood, front fender, top rear quarter panel, and rear fascia vents is much easier with the Master Blaster.
I've also had one several years and it dries the car great especially when you are in cold country. I moved from 7000 ft where it was cold and snowy and washing/drying the car was a big pain. I did find that you need a micro fiber cloth to touch up the spots while you are drying.
I now moved to warm arizona and I do not need the master blaster. A friend helping me move broke the plastic handle on it but otherwise its great condition and is for sale!
The first $100 plus shipping takes it. You can pm me if you would like a pic. Include a cell number so i can take a quick pic for you and send it.

Anybody know wher to purchase a hose extension for the Mb-3Cd Air Force Master Blaster ? Thanks
Yes. Go to the Manufacturers (metro) website.... 10 ft extensions....
Heads up...the connecting collars screw on and off the opposite way you would expect.....Also they come loose so consider gorilla glue for threads
