Here is what I was told when I inquired again on 4/21:

Hello,
We are getting closer and hope to have them done in about 3 weeks.

Unfortunately this has been the same answer since February each time I inquire.

Yeah, I got the 3-4 week response when I inquired about 3 weeks ago so I was just wondering if they had made any progress. Doesn't sound like it.

Hello,
We are back with what we hope is the last update we will have to give you until your C7 Taillight blackouts ship. We have all the lens covers molded, and our hand cut covers fit perfect. What we have left is to program our CNC to cut each lens out PERFECTLY just as we were able to do by hand. Programing, cutting , and testing is the time consuming part as these lights have some VERY difficult angles. Once we get this locked in we will be able to get all orders out ASAP. We will once again test each lens the CNC cuts out before we release these to you and the public.*
We know this has been a long wait, trust us we value your time and willingness to stick with us in this process. Thank you for your advanced order once again, enjoy the pictures. Oh one last thing, you will notice the price just went up again to $169. Each time we get closer to getting them done the price will go up till the target MSRP is reached. Be happy you were able to get in when you did!
Gentlemen, I think you have to start facing the 99.99999% probability that you have been swindled....

January 8 Order? Same message that will be ready in 3 to 4 weeks for 5 or 6 months?

CNC for vinyl? (this is a machine for producing metal parts, like firearms), not cutting out vinyl patterns...plus, programming is not "time consuming" for something as simple as this...."VERY difficult angles"? Give me a break!!!b*****t and snake oil pure and simple.

Start out at $99. per-order, now up to $169 and no serious push back?

I suspect the site is somewhere in Eastern Europe and they figure that these rich Americans spending 60-70 K on a car are not going to get that worked up about being ripped of for a hundred or two bucks such that they would actually trouble themselves do anything about it....

So far, looks like they are right....I would be happy to be proven wrong...if so, please post pix of package, opening package, and install...

I'm going with the Rustoleum Lens Tint---13.95...VHT Nightshade comparable....

They're actually located in Boca Raton, FL so it's definitely not an overseas operation, but everything else as far as them not delivering on their promise could very well be true.

I think they were supposed to be acrylic, not vinyl. Personally, I'm just going to wait until the z06 taillights hit the market. From what I've seen of people spraying their lenses, they look good when the brake lights are not on, but when they are, they look splotchy.

I would never spray mine with that Rustoleum crap so that's why I thought these acrylic covers were a great idea. However, if they're never going to be made available I guess I'll just wait for something else.

I will be happy to prove you wrong when I get them. I have bought from GS Creations before without problems so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. And the CNC is for the mold not the acrylic (or vinyl as you call it) genius

Why is Rustoleum Lens Tint crap? Almost all reviews I have read have been positive as have been the You Tube shots showing both daylight and night time look with the brake lights/tail lights/backup lights lit....anyway, it is removable, so if you are right then its not a big deal...however, if you have anything you can point to, other than some disgruntled users who probably didn't know what they were doing in applying it, (I would probably fit into this category since I have never done something like this), I would like to hear about it...

I don't care what you call it Einstein, six months to program a CNC machine for a mold is pure b.s.....Like I said, if you get it, and its great, I will admit I was wrong and good on ya, but I don't think I'm going to making any apologies based on what I've heard so far....Hope I'm wrong and you're right, cause I don't like to see C7 guys ripped off....

Guys, I hope this is true... I would love to get a quality set of acrylic black out lenses for the rear that would allow oem light out when needed.....my comments are based on something a wise man once told me that has proven to be true most of the time in my decades of experience dealing with people..."always suspect the worst of everyone, and you will seldom be wrong"...it's nice to be wrong once in a while....

Please post here when you get them as it seems like you're the "guinea pig" for this project now.

Also just ordered their side and back reflector blackout kit....

I don't have a problem with the 3d brake light in the spoiler...it is mostly blacked out.....

The only color that is going to be left on the car is the red tail/brake lights...

However, the 4 red light lens covers will annoy me....

Yes, I have seen replacement lenses that are dark, but problem is
(aside from possible police excuse to pull over) is that some dim-bulb
who rear ends you at a stop light will claim he couldn't see your brake lights! With what I've seen so far, that would be an excuse that might work...

Has anyone found a way to black out the rear lenses in the daytime, but, let them be bright at night, or when you apply brakes during daylight (like the cover on the 3d brakelight in the spoiler)?
It would be really nice to see some great photos of your car.

Hello all,
This is Greg from GScreations and I can assure you no one has been "swindled" or ripped off. We have been in business for over 11 years. Our products are sold to the top Corvette shops around the world and here on this forum. Ecklers, Zip, Vette Nutts, Mid America, West Coast Corvettes, RPI, Corvette mods and Redline-motorsports are just a few.

While this project has taken us a lot longer than originally anticipated, when finished it will be the best C7 tail light kit available, just like we have done for the C5 and C6's. We have always been the first and with that comes bumps in the road. We have hit every bump there is but we have pushed though each time. We appreciate the support from our loyal customers and everyone that has taken advantage of the pre-sale. We will have these kits shipping soon, if there is anyone that has a doubt to this please feel free to call our number located on our website. We are the horse, hear it from our mouth not the naysayers.

Thank you,
Greg

Our post was not to encourage sales as we are not a forum vendor but yet to state the facts about our company.

The only way our 3rd party payment merchant works is the payment is immediate.

I'll be very interested to hear from some members what they think of this product once they have them installed. I'd like to use something like this but debating a molded piece over having the tint shop do them when I have my windows done.
