Called Chevrolet today, I've had nothing but issues with JBA Chevrolet: waiting over 2 hours for a loaner: now I just don't get them, to hard. My volume control on my '13 GS steering wheel goes down instead of up, took them 5 visits to finally figure it out even though they saw the problem. Ordered the parts, never heard from them again, they just forgot. Took my '14 Ray in on Monday and they kept it overnight. When they returned it to me, it was trashed, it had tree sap stains, dirt, pollen and all kinds of other junk on it. The service manager said he had no room to keep it in doors (lie). I guess he never heard of washing. These guys are just bums. Chevy doesn't want to do much so I'm writing the CEO of Chevrolet.
Surely there're other dealers in MD you can use who'd LOVE your service work; especially, since this isn't the first bummer experience you've had with the clowns.
Don't get mad, get even.
Find out who the local Corvette Club(s) use/recommend & kick this outfit to the curb.
Any outfit working so real hard at losing business should be rewarded, accordingly.
You are getting treated poorly because you allowed them to coast on your work the first time that they were not good. There is nothing Chevrolet's brass are going to do. When you get the follow up for service you can fail the dealer and maybe Chevy will take notice.
Many dealers don't like warranty work as they don't get paid as much, so rather than saying, no, we don't do warranty work they just do crap work ( I don't think Chevrolet would go for the we don"t do warranty work as a valid excuse ). Find a good dealer in your area who wants your business and go from there. I' sorry to say this is your bad. And as others have said, don't want them washing my Corvette, unless you want swirl marks.
That sucks. With bad service before, why would you go back?
Did you specifically ask them to keep it inside and they said they couldn't? If so and you are that picky, you shouldn't have left it with them.
Some Corvette owners don't want their cars washed, including me.
What do you expect GM to do to help you? Replace your car? It's out of GM's hand and it's all up to the dealer if he wants to give you a detail.
You are kidding right? You take a car in that is clean as a whistle and you expect to get it back clean, not trashed. I don't care where they keep it, I do care when I pick it up that it's looks like it's been through the ringer, I can't believe anyone else would think differently.

No, I'm not kidding. What I'm saying is after you got the car back, did you ask them to clean it for you and they refused? What do you want GM to do? Take away their franchise?
I'm not saying what they did was right but I am saying that some, including myself, Corvette owners don't want dealerships cleaning the car.
No use crying over spilled milk, get your car detailed, hand the dealership the invoice and find another dealership. You had a bad experience once and you went back. Lesson learned!

Keep it short and sweet, you don't want to get Audited.
On a serious note, did you get the Service Manager involved? Completely unacceptable.
My local Dealer, where I did NOT buy my Car BTW, has the Car Washed every time.

So you go back again after thinking their service sucks? I just don't get you....

No offense, but for every vette owner that wants his car washed at the dealer, there are 5 who would rather have it dirty and wash it themselves.

Your right, just trying to see good in everyone, I can't believe that it would be consistantly this bad, it is in the long run my fault. After 3 Vettes, I've never seen it this bad.....
