Complete C7 custom stereo install
The C7 is my 4th vette....had a C5 coupe, convertible and recently a C6
I have always put in an aftermarket stereo....loud is more important than fast for me....yes I am weird
Typically I have replaced everything...factory deck, all speakers and added subs.....always gone high end with lots of power
For the C7 I was really lucky that my car audio place had already done a C7 before they did mine....
Let me tell you that replacing everything and keeping the head unit is not an easy task....my installer has been doing this for 13 years and it took him almost 5 days to figure out HOW to make all of this work
So here is the breakdown
Rockford fosgate T3652 mids and tweets components
Rockford T0D210 10 inch subs x2
Rockford pro 8 mid
Hybrid legattia 3"
Rockford P10005. Five channel Amplifier
Cache COE8 - this is a must as it processes the sound from the deck to the speakers
Custom box
Here are some pics of the install....
And Yes it ROCKS....crazy bass....that will blow your head off and highs that super clear.
The best part....got to keep the factory deck!!
Huge thanks to the guys at

I can imagine you can wake the neighbors several steers over with this system now huh?

Did they up the battery and alternator capacity too?

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

(I don't worry so much about the higher freqs as their duty cycle is lower BUT they're still going to have significant drain too - 1000 watts @ 13.8 volts = roughly 72 amp draw)
Let us know how your battery and alternator hold up.....
Nice man!! That's some quality stuff you are going to install!!!!
These guys have been doing this for 25 years and for me almost 20
Said my battery was good....almost a month blasting my stereo and I mean blasting....no issues
Here are the specs on the amp

But, in the words of Tim the Tool man Taylor: "grunt grunt grunt.....more power!"
