Update:
The General Manager called me back in less than 24 hours after I e-mailed the documentation. He agrees with my stance and will make me whole. He said the claim was submitted last Thursday, should have the check in two weeks. I'll post back when the check arrives.

OP, FWIW, I wouldn't answer any further questions on this matter publicly. People may have additional questions, or hope for answers, but I would just wait for the check, thank for dealership publicly, and ask for the thread to be closed...seems like you've been pretty much doing that already though which I think is a good thing.
