Default Dealer prep

Does anyone know exactly what comes in the plastic bags that are in the 2014 vet when the dealer gets the car.

I picked up mine at the dealer and got what I thought I should have;but I was looking at the delivery of a new car at the Corvette Museum and noticed the people were shown some things that were not what I got.

Just wondering?

What did they get that you didn't?

Z51 will have brake cooling rings (2), a spool of wire to attache the rings. All C7s will have a fueling funnel, front license plate holder (if ordered), Aero Cover, manuals and manual cover & wheel center caps. If any 'dealer installed' options were ordered (engine compartment liner for example) it will either be in the rear compartment of shipped to the dealer seperately.

Front air dams are also in the plastic bags to be installed by the dealer doing the PDI, both base and Z51. For the Z51, the lower A arm air deflectors are also in the plastic bag to be installed by the dealer.

I believe the floor mats are also in the rear, to be installed by the dealer. As are the manuals.

All of above is correct and inclusive from what I can recall. I picked mine up essentially without a PDI and that's what I remember finding in the back.

Just remembered - 2 build sheets should be in there also as well as the printed instructions for installing all the plastic pieces (aero cover, plate holder, air deflectors, etc.).

Curiously - I've never received a new car with essentially NO swirls or marks in the paint before. I took the factory cover off and it was virtually perfect underneath. Supports the widely held theory here that the dealer wash does more harm than good.
