Hopefully I'll have it by this weekend.
Oh boy. Now it's gets more exciting. Knowing that's it's actually on its way will make so hard to go five minutes without wondering exactly how far away your baby is. I check the status of mine every 10 to 15 minutes even though I know there's nobody there because they've gone home for the day.

Yea, Go Figure. I've been using the Order Tracking Post here on the forum, I've use the On-Line CHAT feature, have bugged the dealer, and even called the 1-866-636-2273 (GM Executive Offices) number and ultimatly I get my info from the Chevy Owner's Order Tracking link

But no matter, I dropped off my Z51 Sway Bar's and Pre-Delivery Check List to my dealer and will be spring loaded to complete the deal as soon as the dealer calls.

My boss wants this over with too. He says it's been worse than having an expectant father on duty

My boss too (wife). Even though it was her idea to get a C7 in the first place. She wanted it here for our clubs next run this Saturday, but I don't think so. I know it's just days away now.

Sadly, "shipped/en route" status on the Chevy website doesn't guarantee the car has been shipped. It's another one of those statuses that covers multiple codes. Your car could be either 4B00-bayed, in 4D00- qc hold, or 4200-actually shipped. My car sat at that status over a week before it actually shipped. The same goes for the "at the dealership" status. It's not necessarily at the dealer even though the Chevy site will indicate it is. Basically, the Chevy site is useless for anything after "produced". Is your dealer not helping you? They can get the most accurate info after the car has been produced. Your car may be on the way, but don't be alarmed if it isn't.

Trust me, there's no more reason to even look at that site now that your car is built. I felt your pain just a few weeks ago. My car was produced on the first day of my tpw (6/30). It showed shipped/en route the next day. You can imagine my excitement. Then I found our it was actually bayed. It stayed at 4B00 from 7/1 until it finally shipped on 7/12. And it didn't get to my courtesy dealer (470 miles from BG) until 7/16. I was told the truck had to make six stops though.

Mine was built on 7/14 and shipped to Toledo the next day. Last I heard, it was in Arlington, Texas on its way to Calif on the 21st. That's about half way here. One dealer here in Sacramento has six in transit and my dealer in Rio Vista has two inbound. One of those is mine. They tell me July 31st it will be here. I wish it could be sooner. After waiting 8 months, a few more days ain't bad.

I know your pain, not knowing exactly where your car is at any given time. With everything computerized, you would think they could tell you, kinda like Fed X or UPS.

Mine was built on the 18th and is still bayed waiting for a truck. A week now with no movement. Seems to get harder knowing it's built and you can't drive it.

Mine is actually heading to the East and is on a truck waiting for a few more to be built for my dealer. They sell so many that they send them full truck loads just for them. He said I should have it next week and expects it to leave on a truck either today or tomorrow, but I have my doubts.

What dealer did you order from? Curious if ours will be on the same truck?

Gogolf, Car ordered at Bellavia Chev Buick E.Rutherford NJ., car listed on their website as in transit. Complete description of car on site. Hopefully it will ship this week. The best with yours. Captain Tom

Just checked the GM order tracking site a few minutes ago, showing my car is at dealership.

Mine was built 7/18. No idea where it is since I just got back from vacation... Kinda funny both of our cars are built that week blackmagicz. I remember we and others spitting nails earlier this year thinking it would never happen.
