I heard that they were giving the workers two weeks off before the start of the 2015. If you look over at the CCS thread for cars being built you will notice they are no TPW of 7/28 or 8/4. Which supports what I had heard.

That's too simple. It should be days from factory to customer, not weeks and weeks. But why would they care, the car is sold.

Incorrect. I just did a little quick research on another Vette forum tracking thread. There's someone at 3300 with an August 4th TPW. There will be no extra time off between model years. Several dealers have confirmed this before.

My dealer says mine is in Detroit. Once it's loaded on a car then it takes 3 days to get out here to NY. Then it's just hours till delivery, they said it goes immediately to the dealership once it's unloaded. I'm hoping it gets loaded this week, don't want to wait anymore.

My car was just built yesterday, the 28th. Waiting for shipment now.

Like I said in another thread. They should ship via UPS or FedX. Problem solved.

They had the same exact problems when the new 2005 C6 came out. You would think they would learn from their mistakes.

Just picked up my car from my salesman Kevin Holdorf at Bellavia Chevrolet, East Rutherford, on July 31. Got a great deal on a great car.

Me, my new vette, and my great salesman Kevin. [/I]

Awesome, another LRG Stingray. Hard to believe we still have cars built during TPW 7/14 still in the shipping pipeline and just now being delivered. I've had 8 days of fun, rolled up over 300 miles.

to you and your new Stingray.

Nice to both of you! And still in the shipping pipeline? My car hasn't even left the factory to get shipped yet, well at least last week it hadn't. It was still at 4B00.

Your car doesn't have to be at the factory to have the code 4B00. Being bayed in Toledo waiting for a rail car can still have this code, like mine did last week.

Yeah it could be! BTW, is yours going to Socal? If it is, I bet it's on the same train as mine! Mine got on a rail on Thursday and is anticipated to arrive to Mira Loma, CA on August 9!

No mine is going to AZ. Last I heard from the dealer last week was that I still had a anticipated arrival of Aug 20.

Maybe they're still on the same train? I got an update from the GM Executive Office on Friday. Which day did your dealer update you? The number for GM was posted here by blackmagicZ if you go a few pages back.
