So that may confirm that we weren't on the same train! I say may because we don't know if it's entirely accurate. Something you're probably familiar with!
I went so far as to follow the train tracks on my iPad map from Toledo to Calif., that's about 2,200 miles. The tracks split so many times, it's almost impossible. It appeared the tracks went parallel to highway 80 most of the way. You can see the big rail yards where the train stops to pick up or drop off rail cars and maybe switch tracks. Because of national security, you can no longer get freight train schedules including where CSX hands over the rail cars to Union Pacific to continue the journey.
Wow! Your car must have shipped out from BG the same day it was built then, since the train that gets to Milpitas left on 7/29.
My Tpw was 7/28. When I logged in to the production tracker Tuesday morning 7/29 it showed in- route. I almost pee'd my pants. My car gets trucked to Winter Chevrolet in Pittsburg Ca. after it gets off the train. I was so jealous of u guys that had earlier Tpws

Sounds like you got the perfect build date in order to avoid all this rail nonsense! Awesome!
Do you have any idea what time the train is expected to arrive in Milpitas?
Sorry, no idea. I'm pretty sure the dealer could get that information. Other people have gotten the rail car number their cars are in from their dealers. If you know that number, you can call Union Pacific for the arrival time. Maybe UP could tell you the time without it too.
I was first told by GM, estimated day was the 7th, then when I called a week later, they said the 8th. It sure would be nice if the trains were running ahead of schedule.
Didn't you send out a drone to follow it already? Haha
At the least, I should be sitting in the rail yard waiting for the train to arrive today. Last night at the club meeting, a bunch of people asked me if the car is here yet. I told them, today. One of the guys said when his was off loaded a couple of months ago, it was early in the morning and within a couple of hours it was at the dealer in Sacramento.

Wow! Delivered the same day that it arrived at the rail yard? That's amazing! The last update I heard, mine was supposed to arrive at the rail yard tomorrow. I'll just leave it be and get the call when it arrives at the courtesy dealer!

Did your dealer tell you the train would arrive tomorrow? GM told me on two different occasions that it would be today. I'm sure your car and mine will be on the same train. I'll do like you and wait for the call.

No, my salesmen have been extremely lacking. Little to no information on my car. Little to no contact with me until they wanted my money. After they had it, little to no contact once again. I've been getting 99% of my updates from GM. They're the ones that told me it was going to arrive tomorrow. I doubt we're on the same train though, mine is coming to Mira Loma.

Oops, that would make sense, but. I found a not a schedule but where the train stops in each city. I believe after Milpitas here in Nor Cal, that same train continues to a couple of other cities including Mira Loma. So you may be on then same train and that's why yours will be tomorrow and mine today. But I could be 1,000% wrong.

That makes sense actually, where did you find the information?
Well i Hope you guys do get your cars today or tomorrow and begin enjoying them.
I won't get mine until next week! It arrives at the railyard tomorrow, but the fleet person handling my courtesy delivery does not work weekends! So either Monday or Tuesday for me! Depending on when they get the PDI complete. I can't wait and hope to be surprised when I get the call! I'd definitely drip whatever I was doing and go
