Just missing a few options from my car C7 Z51 with MagRide and Manual Tran
1)Auto Recall "ON IGNITION"
2)Suspension (it's not there at all....only...Sound Mgnt and Steering)
3)Display/Mode (i believe supposed to say "auto""day""night"
Are these all know early VIN issues
Also the Dim Dash problem.
Due tomorrow to dealer to have whatever fixed but any info to present them would be great. Read some horror stories.

Thanks for any quick info.
The suspension option was removed prior to production starting. There weren't calibrations that worked. Too many handling variables to dial in a mag ride system without the predictability of knowing what the steering was going to be doing and what the throttle was going to be doing. It was eliminated.
Display mode is there, you must just be missing it in the options selection menu.
How old is your car? The memory recall flash was finalized in the April timeframe. If your car predates the flash it is an easy dealer flash.

Everyone I've talked to (dealership, Chevy Cust Service) has said that the manual trans cars won't get the recall-on-ignition update. I have asked around a bit and that's the response I've gotten, which is kind of disappointing as it makes getting into the car (6'4") a bit more difficult. Considering both our previous 'vette (a C5) and our XLR (technically a C6) had this option, it's a bit confusing as to why the C7 doesn't...
From: Should this thoughtful, valuable contribution meet with no acknowledgement or 'thanks' this post----

I've learned to pick my nose while I'm holding in the button....
I've been wondering about the On at Ignition memory seat update. My C7 (M7) was built just last month and did not have this option. I have heard conflicting answers. Still am not sure it is available for the M7.
No biggie about the suspension, glad to get a clear cut answer on that.
I know some people have had the Recall on Ignition added and working (not sure if auto or manny)
Definitely don't see Display/Mode (here's a pic)
I PRAY there is no issue with the DIM DISPLAY as that's the one that bugs me most.

I had a software update at 7500 miles, and I now have the recall-on-ignition option. It completely solves the problem.

Thanks for the info pals
The dim display is the instrument panel, not the center stack display for the radio. If you find that your dash panel gets dim for a period of about 30 minutes at dusk have your dealer install PI1101B. Depending upon the age of your car, it may not have it installed from the factory.
My M7 after seat the memory software update in June. Before the update choices were just ON or OFF. The update is a big improvement. VIN 22xxx built 4/15.

Thanks for the code for the dim screen.
I know the dim problem is with the driver console only...that pic was to show I have no Display/Mode options

Happen to know what the software update was referred to as? I have to take the car in for an oil change shortly, if I can provide a bit more precise info that "some guys on the forum said" maybe I can get this sorted.
Got he auto memory recall on ignition fixed.
They say they fixed the "dim driver screen" problem.
I still "do not" see Auto/Day/Night for Display/Mode.....
Anyone with a screenshot?
Having tons of flicker screen issues so gotta go back and get screen replaced I guess.
