Just ordered a 2015 convertible from MacMulkin. It was a pleasure to do business with them again. Tommy and his team are exceptional. Looking forward to my delivery.
Will certainly talk with them when I get ready to buy one.
I bought a '14 from them about 4 weeks ago. I was very impressed, they keep things simple. It was the easiest car buy i have ever had and over the years i have had dealings with many dealers. Besides offering a good deal, they are honest which is a refreshing change. I wish i lived closer so i could utilize their service department (I am 2 hours south).
Good news
Ain't heard nothing bad about them till here on the Z06 forum.Thread about charging over MSRP on first arrival order list.Business is business.

The issue is that people who have been on their Z06 list for months are now being told that they will lose their place in line unless they agree to buy at $5,000 over MSRP.
It isn't their selling above MSRP that has people upset, it's what appears to be a broken promise. Personally, I'm done with them forever. If I can't trust them to followup on a promise to sell at MSRP first-come-first-served, how can I trust anything they say?

I just dropped them off my list, they told people MSRP then changed the waiting list. Go to the Z06 forum.

That and the smug answers the salesman gave as to why they are doing it.
The Z is too high for me lol but I wouldn't use them just on principle now. Just like the salesman. Cause I can.
Also gotta love the comment how happy they are with the service and so far all they 've done is agree to take and place and order for a 70, 000 dollar car and a credit card number...Toll free too.
^^^Bait and switch tactic doesn't sit well with most people. They basically took business away from other forum dealers for the past few months promising msrp prices.

And baiting-and-switching is baiting-and-switching, which is bad business.
Reputations: Decades to build, seconds to destroy. It was their choice to annihilate all that goodwill in one email blast. I'd never again believe a word they say, ever.
Nope will never buy from them ever with there new sales tactics . I had same issue when i tried to by a c6 from them back in the day. And Tommy Jr you have better chance of the pope calling you back. lol

KERBECK is offering Z06 at MSRP if I am not mistaken...
If you have not given them any ($$) for a down payment on a car; otherwise known as consideration, then they can do anything they please.
Legal? yes.
Ethical? NO.
You still have the option of walking away and continuing to let forum members that there are unethical practices going on out there. Unfortunate, as I'd always heard good things about them........
I have purchased 4 Corvettes from MacMulkin and all transactions were conducted in a professional manner. Not a single issue was encountered. I still have total confidence doing business with this dealership. It appears a mistake was made, but was corrected. I would not judge this dealership on this particular issue alone.
