They go spaz then finally do what they are supposed to after # 10. I have manual trans and would like to get in, close the door, push #1 button, have the seat & steering wheel go to the pre-programmed position so I can reach the clutch and start the car.
I read other comments where we may not want the seat all the way back against the stops at exit the way I have mine set. I will be calling you early in the afternoon if I can't get it to work.
First Z06.
Two things can be causing this. First, if your exit position is all the way against the back bulkhead, it has tripped the limit sensor and it will cause the memory to only work in supervised (holding the button) and it will result in choppy motion to safeguard the motor (again because the limit sensor was tripped).

The first thing to do is make sure your exit position is set so that it is in about a 1/4" from the seatback touching the back wall. Move it forward and just reprogram the exit button.

Second, if your emergency brake isn't on, it won't work in unsupervised mode.

There are two modes of the seat memory. They are called supervised and unsupervised. Supervised memory movement is when you press and hold the button. You can do this under any vehicle circumstances.

Unsupervised memory recall (when you just press and hold) requires specific vehicle circumstances. In order to use Unsupervised memory recall, you must have the parking brake on.

Even for unsupervised, the memory buttons are a bit touchy. Frankly, it's all about the way you press the button. My car is a seven speed.

When you first enter the car, and the car is off you will have to hold the button and it will move through the memory cycle.

A quick (firm) momentary press on the memory button when the car is running and the parking brake engaged will cycle the full memory setting.

I've attached a couple of videos to illustrate.

In this first video, the car is in accessory mode, not running. Notice I'll press the button firmly and quickly but it doesn't move. Once I press and hold the button, it moves while I'm holding it. Click the image to play the video file. This is supervised memory recall.

In this second video, the car is running. A quick firm press of the button and you can hear the seat moving and see the steering wheel move through its cycle. Click the image to play the video file. This is unsupervised memory recall.

It was a little difficult to figure out how to video this to illustrate what I was talking about so I framed the memory buttons so you can see my finger as well as the steering wheel moving. Hopefully it makes sense.

No need to press the button if you uncheck one of the options and choose ign on it will work open door sit down push ign on not necessary to touch brake or clutch or button emergency brake needs to be on. I'm away from my car but if you tell me the screen choices I can help you. I'm short 5/6 with seat all the way back I can press the start button on on e pressed it moves up door open or closed. Thanks, I've got it working perfectly now. I didn't know you had to go into the menu to do anything.

Thanks to Forum members like Doug I have the seat 'problem' solved and everything working like it should. As for the SD card, get a good 32GB card, which will give you about 770 minutes of video and have fun.

I have formatted and used a 64GB class 10 disk, it gave me 1440 minutes of recording time. Great for that long trip!

Yup. Pretty sure you can go up to at least 128gb. Look here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1587767149
You just have to make sure it is formatted correctly. I have a couple of 64gb cards as that seems to be the sweet spot in price now.

You’re right we’ve come a long way! I bought the first PC in the State of Ohio; that is what the Radio Shack store manager would tell me when I called wondering when it was going to be delivered for our R&D lab! It had 4K of memory and was the same price as my TI-59 calculator and much easier to program! Actually could do a lot and used a simple programing language. Much easier storing data than our Texas Instruments calculators where you placed it in stacks and retrieved by removing it one by one or the Fortane we used in college on a mainframe! The programs were stored on an audio cassette, much better than the magnetic strips we used with the TI calculators!
