What size sd card do we use for the PDR? An 8 GB is only 20 minutes? A 16 GB is 40 min. and cost about $40? Sounds kinda expensive.
Also I can't get the memory settings to work for the seats/steering wheel for entering or exiting. They should work when the door opens or closes? Help! Thanks
I asked the same question an earlier post. The response I got was 32GB.
As far as the seats go, do the exit is easy. Go to you entertainment screen and hit settings, vehicle. You options will be under comfort.
I still can not get the seat to go into the correct driver position when I enter the car. I was told by the dealer today that this option for this is no longer available. Not really sure if that's right or not but I will wait for someone else to respond.

32 gb card should run about 770 minutes.
That is what mine showed remaining when I first put the card in.
Seats are another matter. Is your car auto or manual?
Finally, the system features a dedicated SD-card slot in the glove box for recording and transferring video and vehicle data. Recording time depends on the capacity of the memory card, but an 8GB card can record approximately 200 minutes, while a 32GB card stores up to about 800 minutes - more than 13 hours of driving time.
What type of sd card do I get? At Best Buy, they had a chart that said 8 GB was 20 minutes and so forth, so I don't know what card you guys have that gives 200 minutes.
A 32GB SD card will hold in excess of 11 hours of video.
On the memory. Have you programmed your entry and exit positions to memory locations (buttons on the door)? Have you gone in to the personalization settings and set up auto entry recall and auto exit recall?

The card should be a class 10 card for the PDR. A class 10 can write the video to the card fast enough to keep up. I bought two 32 GB class 10 SD cards at Best Buy last Saturday for $30 each.

Ignore the Best Buy chart. How long you can record on a given SD card size depends on what the resolution and frame rate are. The times I posted are based on the actual PDR specs.
You need to go in to your personalization settings. Once you have programmed the buttons on the door to the positions you are comfortable with, go to the main menu on the center display screen and scroll down and select Vehicle. From the vehicle settings scroll to and select Comfort and Convenience. You will need to make selections in:
Auto Memory Recall (press it and choose between On Driver Door Open or On At Ignition.
Easy Exit Options (press it and select On.) - > Do not set your exit position so that it is all the way so your seatback is against the rear bulkhead. Move it in about a 1/4" to prevent it from triggering the limit sensors.

Thanks alot, I just did what you told me and it worked. Didn't know you had to go into the menu. All is Well!
Absolutely amazing how inexpensive this stuff has become.
When I started out in computer sales, I sold a college a 16 KB (yes KB!!!!!!!) upgrade to their minicomputer for a little over $10K. They tripped over themselves thanking me for supporting their school.

Sorry, but I think Chevy knows more about what it's camera can store on a given size SD card than Best Buy does. BB is probably using full 1080p HD video as the benchmark for their figures.
Totally dependent on resolution. Wouldn't surprise me if they were using 4k as their benchmark. My phone can record 1080p and 4k resolution videos and I have tons of storage left.
If you can't get the seats to work call me 770-316-8528 be in your car and I will walk you thru it.

I am able to get the seats to go back and the steering wheel to tilt up and away upon exit. When I get back in is when the aggravation begins. I have to hit the #1 button 10 times (I'm not exaggerating!) to get the wheel and seat to go to the position I had set them in memory. They go spaz then finally do what they are supposed to after # 10. I have manual trans and would like to get in, close the door, push #1 button, have the seat & steering wheel go to the pre-programmed position so I can reach the clutch and start the car.
I read other comments where we may not want the seat all the way back against the stops at exit the way I have mine set. I will be calling you early in the afternoon if I can't get it to work.
