My car is Pandora capable and it did work. Just let OnStar expire ($200/$300 per year - like get real), anyway now I can't connect to Pandora. Another interesting thing is my iPhone can be playing a Pandora station sitting in the vehicle, I turn on accessory and when the car radio comes on the iPhone drops Pandora audio - Pandora station selections etc are still displayed. Is Pandora part of OnStar, and is OnStar jamming my iPhones audio. Thoughts.
Try logging out on your phone and log back in to Pandora. They recently did an update, and doing this got mine back working again.
Did you use the USB connection the owners infotainment system manual talks about? Didn't know about the update, that is probably the problem. My iPhone does continue to receive and place calls (voice recognition works surprisingly good).

I don't use the USB. I have an Android phone, and everything works automatically as soon as the phone is near or in the car via Bluetooth.
My phone would work through the car as normal, and Pandora would let me change stations, but the songs would not play. I tried restarting the phone and car a few times with no fix. I finally just logged out of Pandora with my phone, logged back in, and it was back up and running fine. No update to the phone itself, but I heard Pandora itself was down a while for a system update of their own a couple days ago.
I will say that I've got so used to Pandora in my Volt and Corvette that not having it work ruins the drive for me.

I will give it a try by restarting my iPhone. In fact going out to the garage right now.
Doesn't work? Still when I turn on accessory the Pandora audio dies on my phone. Also I get a display on Pandora page - No Internet Connection. Thinking it might be part of OnStar?
When I get in the car with Pandora playing on my iPhone the audio will continue until I hit accessory, the car goes through the picture presentation then when the radio starts playing about two seconds later iPhone audio stops. When I turn accessory off and open door radio is now off but iPhone audio will not return until I select Pandora again???
I only currently have Pandora set up. (least I did)? Are you still subscribing to OnStar? My new car subscription just expired this week. No Internet connection; probably is part of OnStar subscription.

The Pandora works through OnStar's mylink system. Seems if you don't have an active OnStar account it is not going to work. The system must jam the iPhone system as the audio is muted when the car's radio comes alive. I find this troubling; I am paying to receive AT&T services to include Pandora and OnStar mutes it.

I don't have onstar anymore on my 14 Impala and Pandora app works. I'm using Android... Just sayin.. either way.. The Pandora app isn't necessary for a smart phone, Android, IPhone, or Windows as long as you have Bluetooth
Conspiracy theories are so abundant these days on this site. At some point I'm pretty sure someone will blame You know who soon

I have an iPhone powered by AT&T. Interesting. My phone's bluetooth system works, voice recognition, send and receiving.

Again.. Just use the Pandora app and Bluetooth connection from phone. It still allows for headset operation (fwd, rev, skip up and back, pause) the only real difference is you can't thumbs up/down (rate) music. I do have Android but GF has IPhone and she streams everything from iTunes to Pandora to iHeart

I tried everything I can think of. Headset Pandora audio is muted, checked volume phone output and car radio volume, phone still shows Pandora station selection and you can change stations, just can't hear them. I am going to try an Internet connected song, see what happens?

I'm wondering if it's the Iphone.
Do this.. UNPAIR phone from car in phone settings and delete the IPhone from car's phone list , then shut off and restart car. Pair the phone again to car and then see if U can first and foremost make a call. If U can make a call then U are connected.
Open Pandora or iHeart app on phone. Hit media button on car headset until U see your phone on screen. The name of your Phone (XYZ's Iphone) should appear for a few seconds and then go to whatever media U have on phone

No OnStar here and Pandora is working. I've gotten in and could see it connect to Pandora and appear that the song was playing and could not hear anything. I needed to up the volume on my phone in addition to the volume in the vehicle and that solved the issue. Android device.
This week I first lost Pandora then lost the entire infotainment screen. It was completely black with no reverse cam or radio or anything. I tried shutting it down and restarting and nothing. The next morning I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and when I started the vehicle it all came back to life.
This isn't quite so! I cancelled my OnStar (or they did at the end of the trial) as it was too much money. That was early this year, around Feb. Had nothing at all to do with Pandora which still works fine.
