Ouch
I decided to "De Badge" the rear end and remove the "Corvette" letters, as I was attempting to remove the left over sticky stuff, small part of the paint came up. Is touch paint available yet? The rear end looks better without the corvette lettering, now I need to touch up a small area.

Not that anyone else's opinion should matter, but I strongly disagree.

Did you yank on the letter? I would think you would need to pull pretty hard to pull up paint on a newer car like that.
Whatever the cause, I hope the touchup is clean and unnoticeable.

I just de-badged the Corvette lettering myself today (also arctic white). You just have to be careful pulling on any of the letters. It can hinge and the opposite corner can gouge into the paint.
I did a hair dryer and flat nylon dental floss, sawed right through it. The bigger job is removing the black foam/adhesive. About 15 minutes with Wd40 and a healthy dose of elbow grease I was finally able the clear it all. Hopefully I didn't swirl up the paint in the area with all the rubbing. It's hard to see on Arctic White, if I damaged the clear.

Working on the final touches for the reason why I wanted to "De-Badge", this is along with cleaning up the side of the car. I reveal tomorrow, the final result will appear as if nothing never happened.

The Corvette letters don't seem to fit below the C7 wings. The ones that I have seen removed don't look right either. I am letting mine as it came from the factory.
