I have the Blendmount installed with a Passport Max 2 mirror tapped into the wiring harness and no issues with the PDR on my 2015 Z51.

I have a Passport Max (not the Max 2) and a BlendMount. I initially had GPS issues with the original 3" arm as it was too far under the mirror and PDR housing. My GPS signal hardly would pick up at all. I emailed the people at BlendMount relaying my issues. They produced and sent me a longer arm which measured 4". The GPS signal was better, but I was still having issues as it worked intermittently. Since then, I have worked with them in testing an even longer arm. They sent me a plastic prototype to test out. This time it is 4 and 1/2" long. The GPS signal finally comes on and stays on. They will send me an aluminum arm once they have produced them. Here are some photos of the prototype.

I think I'll need the extension as well, I did notice that the GPS wasn't connecting on the RD. Any contact info on whom I should ask for the extension from Blendmount?

I have had the same problem. The replacement they sent does not work consistently . I added some extensions to help but I am glad to hear that they are working on a longer arm. Can you let me know when you receive so that I can call them.

Thanks for your help.

Will do. I'll post a follow-up on this thread once I receive the latest arm.

Mine is wired back to the fuse box. I had someone do it because the side molding had to be removed. They tripped and error code and I had to take it to the dealer to have it corrected. With that said I have the wire coming out in front of the mirror.

Why would you need a radar detector in a Corvette ? You are not thinking of speeding are you ?

I just completed installation of the ValentineOne, Blend Mount using the Mirror tap. Once I found the right connector to tap into, it was a relative piece of cake.
I initially got frustrated with not being able to make the proper connection to the purple and black wires - e.g. when I made that connection it didn't work properly. Then I realized I was trying to connect through the wrong terminal.
You need to find the harness connetor that in the mirror case not the one that's in the PDR case.
Very clean installation.
About the only drawback I can spot is that this connection method pretty much eliminates the use of the Valentine concealed display. I use the concealed display on two other vehicles - but on those I sourced the power from the fuse block not the mirror / mirror tap.

Default Emailed blend Mount

I talked to Mark, the blend mount representative, he said they were still deciding if they were going to produce a 4 1/2 inch long extension arm.

He told me the same thing. He also stated that they were working on other possible solutions and would make a decision soon. I have the plastic prototype 4 1/2" arm and it shakes way too much. It drives me crazy!
