I'm interested in this option, however, in some photos I've seen, there appears to be a small but annoying gap in the center of the grille where the two cf insert halves meet (see photo). Could you please post a photo of this aspect as it appears on your car.

That's another option, however I'm not sure if it's the best bang for the buck considering is costs $240 shipped and you can buy the entire Z06 grill for $230 plus S&H.

The ACS Five1 retails for about $995 plus S&H however it is already painted Carbon Flash and I like the fact the brake ducts air intake sections also have mesh covers. In the end, the decision for me is whether I would want to spend an extra $750 for those features.

However, since I enjoy my Corvette hobby and the cars are more than just basic transportation, I know I've spent more than that on unncessary mods over the years.

Yet so many complain about a few hundred dollars. To me, it's a no brainer. Add a Z06 grille, which based on the endless "ANOTHER Z06 GRILLE INSTALL" and be like everyone else or for a few extra bucks, have something unique and something that's not a copy for a superior model. Don't get me wrong, the Z06 grille looks great, but I think the ACS grille looks better and again, is unique. Going to be funny when all the Z06 guys get tired of all the base model cars copying them and end up buying the ACS grilles to make their cars different from the rest.
lol you're right.

still too much money
