The car icon on my Nav screen is white like my car. I have wondered if it is color coded to the exterior color, like if your car is red is the icon red?
Kind of a moot subject, but would be cool if they were color coded.

I have never used a Corvette Nav after several Corvette's! When I did it was clunky! I just use my I phone!
Base C7 Z06 for me! Forget that clunky nav and PDR!

The best Nav I have is on my 2014 Durango. Google Maps and the best voice menu ever. Nav keeps getting better but none is perfect. In my opinion GM has always been years behind others in their Nav. I don't care for touch screens either but if they are extremely responsive like in the Durango they are ok.

I feel they are inherently more dangerous to use while driving than systems like MB and BMW which mostly use a large "mouse-wheel" to navigate the system.

For touch screen, you have to take your eyes off the road, search for the screen location, move your hand and coordinate your finger to a sometimes small specific target and press a usually less than responsive screen, sometimes more than once to execute a single task. If you are on a separate menu from what you want to do, you may have to do this several times.

With the "mouse-wheel", once learned, you simply put your hand on the controller once, whip around a menu or two and you're done. No "hunt and peck" at 70 mph. Now that MB and BMW have added a couple of the more traditional buttons and ***** back to the dash for frequently accessed items, I think both are approaching perfection.
I use "voice commands" on mine. No searching screen and distraction.

I never had an issue with the Nav in my 2014 C7. I've had voice recognition on several cars now the the C7 is the first to actually get the address I speak almost 100% of the time. This is while parked BTW. I do agree google maps would be better but its better than the nav in my 12 CTS. I like how the directions appear in the heads up display.

AFAIK, just like the car pic on the Touring display,
White is the only color in NAV.

I've seen all the NAV threads stating how bad it is, but to be honest, I really don't think it's that bad.
