Shift lights
OK, having another senior moment. A6 base car. Been through all the HUD screens. Can't find a reference in the manual. Cant seem to find the shift indicator lights that I thought were there. Do I have them?

Do you have a "Track" Mode? That's when they are displayed on the HUD.
Owner's manual 5-28 Instruments and Controls
Track: Displays the vehicle speed,
a linear tachometer, gear position,
shift lights, and G-Force meter.

Yep have track mode and read those words in the owners manual. See every thing but shift lights. Maybe they only appear in manual mode.

That could be. I've not had the occasion to run the car on the track to see. If I did run the car at the drag strip, I'd just leave it in "D" and let the car figure it out.
