Curious what color OEM splash guards would look best matched up with Carbon Flash side skirts? Carbon Flash painted splash guards or body colored painted splash guards?
Just leave them the black plastic color and then you never have to worry about paint chips...
Same with the Level 1 GM front splitter everyone is putting on the Stingrays.
The OEM's do nothing for rearward tossing, only sideway-outward projections. I slotted the bottom of the OEM to add an extension I cut from flat splash guards found to Pep Boys. They are level with the ground the camera makes them look angled. Unless you are looking for them they blend right in.

Well done. Can you explain (or do you have pics) of what you mean by "slotted the bottom"?
Installed them in the driveway.
Did not have to remove the tires.
They fit and look great.
Took less than 5 minutes per corner.
Protection is minimal but I like them.
Not as effective as the Yosemite Sam "Back Off" mudguards.

You can do it in a parking lot after you pick up the car in <1/2 hr.!! No need to jack up the car. I make PDF's of my installs for non DIY folks but you might like to see so you bring the few tools you'll need. http://netwelding.com/Splash_Guard.pdf
Thanks for that. Made my install very quick and easy knowing what to look for.

same here at least you get some extra protection. You have to wonder why GM doesn't just install the guards at the factory they hardly look any different on the car.

Left both the splash guards and front splitter natural. I think they look just fine!

John, I am curious about how effective the extension to the OEM splash guard is? Trying to decide on what to do before car arrives.
I got the GM OEM off Flea Bay (cheapest I could find) and used a rattle can to paint them body color just on the thin strip that shows. Cover over the entire splash guard with plastic bag except for the area you are painting. Apply a few coats of Plastic Adhesion Primer from any auto parts store, a few coats of body color, and a few coats of clear. Mounts easy.
The only mistake I made, and I will eventually do over, is sand the area to be painted completely smooth to get rid of the grain pattern molded into the part before you paint it. It will look much better.
