I had them on my C6 and never painted them and it looks like the C7 splash guards also really don't need painting. They sort of disappear when they're black. I'm going to get a set from Cultrag.

It's one piece of plastic that replaces part of the stock liner, and mount just like the stock piece.

It keeps the splash off until where the back of the door starts to curve upward. I lowered the car an inch and if I recut another pair I'm afraid they would rub when the suspension is compressed. I had an inch longer pair on for the trip home from the Museum and a dip in the highway south of Louisville "pancaked" the car and took them off both sides...I did not have them fastened securely on the inside.

How long is the extension measured from the bottom of the GM part.

Yours looks perfect! Also, did you use epoxy or? maybe you said, sorry. The slotting is genius. Off to see the Peps.
