I don't dislike spoilers, but your logic fails for lazy people.
I'm buying a Z51 C7, and I plan on keeping the spoiler on even though the panel gaps and fit on every C7 I've seen in regard to the spoiler are terrible. The only reason, its too much effort to remove, and what happens if there are holes underneath it?
So you'd consider me a person who likes the spoiler, when in fact I do not.
I didn't say EVERYONE with a Z51 option prefers their spoiler to the small spoiler. It comes as no surprise that there are some people like you with the Z51 option that prefer the small spoiler. I canceled you out, since I got the Z51 spoiler as an option.

If I understand the 2016 Order Guide, one can get bigger Z51 Wheels on a Base C7 if they order Magnetic Selective Ride (FE2). No spoiler included in that package like the 2015 ZF1 had
How'd this thread turn to such crap ? All the OP reported was how the dealer was able to delete the spoiler on his ordered car. Instead it got to one guy telling another member how his car looked hideous and others saying how stupid the cars looked without a spoiler. Talk about a tough crowd.

It took a while, but thanks to Scott at Criswell, I got it just the way I wanted. 2LT, 7-speed, Blade Silver/Jet Black, Machined wheels, Performance exhaust. Spoiler delete.
I love this, I was having o2 sensor replaced yesterday and saw one without the spoiler on the lot which is why I googled this thread. Did you replace rear piece or have holes filled?
I have a 2014 with Z51. I really like the factory spoiler that came with it. Its full width, and not too big. I've seen some of those high wing spoilers, I think they look ridiculous, and never cared for them. They look like something out of a JC Whitney catalog.
Why not just buy a base C7? They all come without the spoiler. Looks much better with a Z51 spoiler. Z06 even better. I guess for the guys that like plain Jane, go for it. Oh by the way, it doesn't look cleaner without the spoiler, it just looks like a base C7. Enjoy.
Not sure why he had an issue with the spoiler delete. It looks to be a base model 2LT. that would not include the Z51 full spoiler. you needed to order the ZF1 option or the Z51 option. At least that is how I understand it.
The other thing I like on the Roadster Spoiler is it is a warning bump. I used to put the vinyl cover down to protect the rear paint.
The first time I used it, the Spoiler hit my midsection, before anything else got close to the paint. That was the last time I used the vinyl cover. Luckily, I had originally bought it for my C6, so I was not out any money.
Mine came with the FE2 Z51 look option spoiler. I'm good with it too.👍
Get the spoiler wrapped black to match the top. That would look sick. I hate body colored spoilers. Doesn't spice the car up enough. Not having a spoiler makes the back of the car look too long.

That's as bad as black side view mirrors. Looks like cr@p. Same color spoiler Z51 looks perfect.👍
