Man is that going to be a slick machine!! If I was going to order one it would be in that color combo!! Take pics!! Personally I would not worry too much about the 500 miles on the oil--just wait till you get home. When I had my Callaway I changed it at about 400. The Z06 I will do at 400 to 600 depends on where it falls in the week. Already have the oil and filters from the warehouse here locally enough to last for a couple of years.
I had museum delivery on my 2015 DSOM vert. It was a great experience. I took my dad, and a buddy of mine since high school that has had a lot of corvettes. It was really a great memory for my dad and I. He still asks how his car is doing when I call him . You will enjoy yourself. It is well worth the extra cost!
Extra Cost - Do you still have to pay the $995 "Destination" Charge in addition to the Museum Delivery?

Yeah. For another $800 you can take the "Buyer tour" of the factory and watch your car being built.

I just ordered my 2016 2LT Z51 Coupe last Tuesday. Waiting for the order to be accepted by GM. Seems like it's been a month instead of a week. This will be my 5th Vette but the first one with Museum delivery. My 11 year old son and I went to BG in May for a long weekend. Did the tour, experienced others getting their cars at the museum, and decided to pull the trigger on the option.

I ordered from a local smaller dealer as I had my 11 GS for a trade and needed the tax relief. I am hoping the order does not get delayed due to the size of the dealership.

Shark Gray 2LT Z51 M7 Coupe
Full length Carbon Flash racing stripes
Black microfiber interior
Transparent top
Black wheels
Carbon Flash emblems
Carbon Flash mirrors and spoiler

Will see how it goes....
Museum delivery

Congrats on your car. I have a TPW of 6/29 on a TR Z06, 3LZ, Jet Black w/red stitching, chrome wheels. color matched roof, & museum delivery. I am taking my 13 yr. old son with me. He doesn't know about the new car, we also have a '14 C7 which I am keeping. It is my daily driver. NCM contacted me yesterday about what I want on the dash plaque. Getting close!

Appreciate the mention. I did order the FE2 without knowing the price. Hope it won't be too high

I ordered mine on 6/9 and found out this morning that I have a TPW of 7/20. 6 weeks is not too bad I guess.

Thanks for the comment. I will wait till I'm home for the oil change.

The special factory tour and guided tour of the Museum are very special experiences, so don't rush them to get to the car. You will spend hundreds of hours in your car, your NCM experience is just that one day. My wife and I left at about 3 pm and I wish I would have stayed another 60-90 minutes.

You will LOVE this car!
Thanks for the comment. Really great advice on not rushing the NCM experience! This will be our first time at the museum and your tip will help us get more out of it.

I am a bit jealous as my order went in on 6/2 and I do not have a TPW yet and your order went in on 6/9. I am glad the orders are going through and no strike yet.

If you don't mind saying what dealer did you use?

Ditto, We arrived the afternoon before... my car had just been placed on the floor (nothing beats walking in and seeing your car!) and toured the Museum before the next day activites. We had Dan (he's a Vette owner/retired from the factory/club president) for our "guide" the next morning at the 7:30 am check in and I'd recommend him when you call to book your delivery with the Museum.

Quick Reply: I just ordered a new C7 with the Museum delivery option
