It's not On Star you should be worried about.

Its the new "SMART BLACK BOX" installed in all 2016 Corvettes.

It works like this, if you go to a Strip Club, Adult Book Store, or
a Massage Pallor, it will automatically send an e-Mail to you wife or girl friend, telling her where you've been.

I, for one, think that the government and OnStar have way to much to do, and way to little money to do it with, to go listening or tracking the average Joe driving around in his car. However, I will say that OnStar, like many companies in the technology business MIGHT actually be collecting bulk data and mining the information held within. One might make money knowing more people driving a Vette, or any other car for that matter, visit this or that business, go to this or that place, and sell that information to a marketing company or other interest for what ever purpose that entity might want it for. Like Apple putting in software that tracks your movement through GPS location without telling you their doing that when you buy their device. I'm just saying.
