That's interesting. That looks to be the car that is by the water tower. If it is, then it has changed since I was there last week. It was silver when I was there.

That photo reminds me of one of those shaky Bigfoot photos.

Is Black&White still insisting we won't get our cars until mid August?

Hey, he was pretty close in his guess, he was only off by one full month!

I sure hope the vette gets here before mid August. Just pulled up OnStar and my car has moved to the Northeast side of the plant....Corvette Dr and Harrison Rd. My fuel gage went from 2.2 gal to Low range. Chevy Chat just told that my car was still at event code 4000 like it has been for over a week now and that I should see event code 4150 (Vehicle Invoiced) before 4200 shipped. There must be well over 1000 vettes being held in their holding area.

Don't know & it doesn't matter. I have a tentative delivery set for 7/16 at 8:45 am at NCM. I just might have one of the very first '16 Z06's on the road. Went to the dealer today to activate OnStar. Got the car registered on my current account but can't get it to show up on my IPhone. Dealer called OnStar and I was told I need to be within 50ft. of the car to connect the 2. WTF? They have the '16 on my account & everything is ok but it won't appear. Any of you have 2 Corvettes registered on your phone with OnStar? Is it possible it won't register until the car gets woken up?

Next problem to resolve is how to get my aftermarket CF side skirts on the airplane. I am considering wrapping them up in bubble wrap encase in cardboard and putting them in my snow ski bag. Any other ideas?

NCM still did not have the invoice for my car & neither does the dealer. The dealer called GM trying to get the invoice but no dice. He did get some prices on the options. With the red stitching, 3LZ, & base price increases it looks like it will cost me around a $1,000 more that a '15 equipped the same. Not too bad considering some of the improvements like the parking camera.

BTW, the dealer has a nicely equipped '15 Z51 cpe, Shark Grey, A8, PDR, mag. ride, chrome wheels, transparent roof, nav. They don't do the market adjustment BS so if interested pm me & I'll give you the contact info.

Things are moving finally. Happy motoring everyone.

Update on OnStar. Just turned off my phone & then turned it back on. Went to MyLink and the '16 is now listed along with the '14. It is located on Corvette Dr. near Harrison Rd. Gonna Google map that and see what's there.

Why don't you just ship them to your home via FedEx or Purolator or UPS?

Problem is I have them at home & need to get them to BG NCM so I can install them before I drive the 2500 miles back home. If I can check them on the plane as baggage they might go for no cost. FedX wants $50 and they may not get there before I take delivery.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had moved from a small lot behind the factory to a much larger one adjacent to the car haulers. I'm going to check once more today at 7PM to see if it is in the same spot, or hopefully on the road. Here's the map view from yesterday and today so you can see what I'm talking about:

Today:

Google Map of the area with arrows showing position 1 yesterday and 2 today:

Also my tire pressures were back to normal, confirming that it was indeed due to a temperature fluctuation.
Hey Doc,

Mac Mulkin activated mine today... Didn't know you bought from them also as I referenced you on my request. What's the latest that OnStar is showing you?

Sorry, I was thinking backwards, I thought that you had to take them on the plane to get them home, not the other way around.

Third and final OnStar GPS update of the day; no movement. Still apparently inside the factory or just outside it.

Will post 3 more updates tomorrow.

I did get the album package and I think the plant tour is worth every penny... attached are the pictures that at the end of the line, mine is the Z06 that we're sitting in and the one behind it with carbon roof, black and red interior, and black wheels was likely going to Canada according to our tour guide (since it had an export sticker). As a side note the cars that were coming off the line on 07/06/15 already had the final window stickers (with the price...that was the only down side of the whole experience .... I guess I'll have to pay for it soon ). So, if shipment was waiting for window stickers the wait is no longer. Also, Shane called me yesterday to coordinate delivery at NCM.

You miss the point that anything but a reliable hand held gauge will vary.

Know when to get worried? when your tire pressure is down more than 5 pounds.

Quick, call the factory, your undelivered vette has a leak!
