It has to be activated by the dealer. They have access to this through one of GM's systems.
Thanks for the heads up. I contacted Mac Mulkin to activate me! I want to see where my car is floating around on that map. It seems next to impossible that it would be at those places. I was just there and drove all those roads many times looking for places to get pictures of that damn lot. There really isn't any real feasible way the car would be there unless they were test driving your car off the lot -- I guess that is a possibility.
It would be really cool if they put it on the stands in the front!
My guess is the cars are being lined up for loading. I wonder if location 1 was the Cadillac holding lot?
PDI and Status Report are completely different. The complete status reports lists each change along with the date and time and something else which I will look for tomorrow. I believe only the ordering dealer can get that. It has about 20 or 25 status changes per page. Trying to follow it in context of what you learned while tracking your build is worth the price of admission.
Laborsmith
Is it available electronically or a physical piece of paper which is included in the car?
If electronic, should I ask the dealer once the car is "In Transit", or once it arrives at the dealer?
Maybe it's on the show stand in front of the plant. I often wondered if they were customer cars.
I'm not sure if I should be excited or concerned about that possibility. I'd rather it be on a car hauler heading my direction.

This is all assuming that the car locations shown in the OnStar app are accurate. I'm sure there is a margin for error, isn't GPS accurate to within something like 30 feet?

One can only hope!!!!
Now that would be awesome!
It's going to be very interesting to track my car tomorrow. I'm already having a ton of fun with my Stingray and it hasn't even arrived yet.
Classic: My salesperson printed mine from the Global Workbench and it is the EVENT HISTORY. I think she did it because of my numerous questions about the process.
It does not come with the car. You need to ask. When you get your copy and if you do not see it as mind boggling as I do, please post I will not be offended.
My tire pressures are concerning me a bit too. 33 all around except front left is 31. It has gone from 34 yesterday to 33 last night and now 31 this morning. However the remaining 3 tires have dropped as well from 35 last night to 33 today. Since all 4 essentially dropped about 2 pounds I'm hoping it's just temperature related.
Wonder if they address this before shipping?
That right there is one of the funniest posts I have ever read.
Can you say obsessed much??
Yes, in case you didn't know, tire pressure will go up or down a pound for about every 10 degrees change in weather.

So yeah, a two pound difference is no big deal.
Not only that, but the tire pressures reported by the tire pressure sensors on these cars are not known to be all that consistent when you compare them to a proper manual gauge. One minute it could be right on the money compared to a manual check and then a few minutes later it'll be off by 2 psi. They are really only good for knowing when a tire is almost flat, if you want your tire pressures to be precise you are best to set them using a high quality manual gauge.

docprego, I think you and I are in the same boat....or should I say the same BG parking area. I have checked on my vette's location a few times in the last 48 hours and it has showed me the same places as you indicated including the circle drive. Just check this morning and it now shows to be back on Corvette Dr just passed the bend. All my stats still show the same i.e. tire pressure, range, oil life, fuel level and mileage. Strange that my Trip A is 2 miles while Lifetime shows 1 mile. I would think that Lifetime would be more than trip mileage. I'm not sure what's going on. I think our cars were started but kind of doubt that they would be moving cars from one parking are to another then back to where it was yesterday morning which is the same place that it was two weeks ago when I activated OnStar just after it was assembled. Who knows?

I also just talked to Shane. They released the first 25 cars to NCM with more to come tomorrow. Mine should be included in the batch tomorrow & I have a tentative museum delivery date of 7/16. Wahhooo!

I was at the plant on Tuesday for a tour. As of 3:30pm they were on track to build 170 units that day (10 hour day), as of which all are already sold.
The back lot in the center of the overhead picture was filled with as many as we could see from the road. All were wrapped with a white plastic wrap.
The production line was running mostly white, silver, black and torch red. Saw only 3 orange, 1 yellow, 2 Laguna Blue. cant remember seeing any other colors that stood out. Did get to see some with the "black out" package.
There were about 8 staged outside around the Bowling Green assembly sign. There was one Torch Red one al by itself on a grassy mound.

Thanks for the update - did you notice if the ones with the "black out" package had the chrome bar removed from the front grill?
