I tried to get a thread on VINs going, #1 went to Canada, you're 3,
11 is going to Florida, and I'm 12 in Mich. FWIW

Its all good and once you are driving your order down the road you will forget the anxiety and the frustration of doinf a retail sold order. How do I know? Because so many who post on this forum are repeaters. It is as addictive as a high and definitely more worth it.

Enjoy the trip!

I know what you mean about the addiction. I have been checking in on this thread since page 1. Thank you, to everyone for all your input. This is my first Vette and hopefully not my last. GM does a pretty good job keeping us in the dark. Waiting for an allocation was 3 months of hell! With that being said, I would not rule out doing it again.

Anyone know if shipping from BG is a 7 day a week operation or 5 day like the factory? Just hoping that my car leaves its BG pen and becomes a free range Vette sooner rather than later.

That's exactly the spot mine showed at until it moved to the other lot and then inside the factory.

Mine was released for shipment to MacMulkin, and OnStar has it about an inch up Corvette Drive from Docprego's car.

Does that mean the the cars will sit there all weekend if Jack Cooper only works 5 days a week? On the other side, they were probably sidelined by a couple of weeks, and the drivers would want to get back to work.

Will check status in the AM.

BTW, how do you capture the Screen Dump from OnStar?

Screen shot in the iPhone-> click power and home simultaneously.

Sorry but remind me again, did you have EYT?

I think you did.

That makes the fact that our cars are in the same spot somewhat confusing.

Is that what you mean by an inch from my car?

Sorry.

I am about half way between Harrison Road and the first bend on Corvette Drive above it.

Thanks for the reply.

Not saying this to be contrary, but there is some evidence that shipping has been 24/7.

Mine is really close to yours. Mine is sitting slightly lower to the right of yours.

So here is the latest on my Z06. Got an email from Shane saying my car had been released & to call ASAP. Placed the call and confirmed NCM delivery on 7/16 at 7:45 am. Then got an email from NCM with all the paperwork.

I spent the next few hours trying to line up a flight from Portland, OR to Nashville. What PIA that was. Finally got a redeye flight that will take 14 hours for instead of the usual 4 hr. trip. Called the dealer and set up an appointment for Monday to get the Bill of Sale & license. Went to the insurance company and got Proof of Insurance. Another $150/month gone from my pocket.

The National Corvette Homecoming event starts on the 16th so I decided to stay a couple of extra days to attend that & think I will put the Z on display as it should be one of the very 1st '16's out there. Will start the 2500 mile trip home on Saturday.

Anyone else taking delivery on or around the 16th that might want to hook up in BG? If so give me a shout by PM.

I misread the question. For some reason I thought he was asking about the factory being open and producing cars. My bad.
