The factory stripe packages are all automotive paint/clear coat on a vinyl substrate.

Great news that it's not! Makes caring for it very simple, it's paint. I always stressed over scratching it and treated it differently from the paint. Thanks

Thank you, it's a Motorola and I needed to check to the model, Moto X.
I had CarboTech brake pads put on and blacked out the chrome strip in the front grill yesterday. I am really happy that the shiny chrome brace look is gone. Now I'm going to be rebellious and leave the front license plate off.

I love the stripes but do not like how the carbon flash badges (in particular the Corvette lettering) disappears on the back.
I've seen some cars where the stripes are cut around the lettering, others where they are under. Did GM change something or is this a mix of OEM and after market?

Burning Brakes
My stringer is horrible quality, has orange peel and does not match the rest of the painted-on carbon flash. I am probably getting it removed and painted on by a body shop.
