You bought the car last year and now you want to verify whether it is a 3LT Z-51? If you bought it new, it had a window sticker. If not, a look under the hood and at the rotors and spoiler would tell you if it's a Z-51 and looking at whether the dash is leather cover, plus memory seat, etc would help verify whether it is 3LT. My question is, what kind do person buys a Corvette and doesn't know what they bought?
Don't mean to reignite the "Z51 Model or Option" controversy and frankly I don't care if you call my Z51 a model or an option! I actually don't understand the emotion it creates for some folks. However this pic shows how they are listed by GM in their 2015 ordering detail:
Z51 is listed as a Model by GM in 2015. Interior Groups are listed Options as are most other items. Was the same for 2014.
BUT the Z51 HATERSAND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE will not like this evidence .I gave up arguing this point a few months ago.Z51 Z51 Z51 Z51 Z51 Z51 Z51 ! Happy Fourth of July! All CORVETTES RULE!!!!!!!!

pretty much nails it right there, Z51 is simply an option package, only "base" car is a 1lt, so a 1lt with Z51 would be a base car
RedC7AZ when you word it like you just did with you 100% . The C7 Z51 is a redefined model of the C6 Z51 option!
You nailed it. However, the reason why it will always be up for debate and rationalization is because it was originally an option. Many believe once an option, always an option.
I am just wondering what the OP bought and why he is asking how to verify it now?

Yep, parsing of the term "Z51" is fun, but it has nothing to do with the OP's original question. And why, now, after the fact is a good time to check out if, in fact, that he bought what he thought he did.
