Default Visor decal solution

I spent hours with the hair dryer and fingers to pry loose the decal with no success. Then with the use of other tools I found the answer.
Its probably not for everyone, but wife is happy.

I have no idea what you actually did. But if the first picture is the final result, I'll say thanks, but no thanks.

Mine came right off with a little heat. No residue at all. My visors have the microfiber material, and it looks like yours do too, so I have no idea why yours gave you so much trouble.

I would say the decals look better than that mess.

The solution in post #6 looks great.

Here's a solution......

Black 3M DI-NOC Carbon Fiber DINOC Flex Wrap CA-421 12”x12”

Or

ABN 4D Black Carbon Fiber Vinyl Car Wrap Film Decal 1ft x 5ft (12"x60")

Or

3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl Flex Wrap Black

2x (pair/set) Victory Wing Stingray Crossed Flags Fender Emblem Badge Nameplate for Chevrolet Corvette C7 14 2014

Cut out two rectangles from the DINOC. You can measure, but I used
dimensions 3 1/4” x 5 1/2” (This about a 1/16” larger
than the label’s length and width).

Using alcohol, clean the label and the area just around it.

Peel the back off and carefully place the DINOC over the label.

Using a hair dryer, lightly heat the DINOC and smooth it out (I used a credit card).

Using alcohol, clean the DINOC on the area where the crossed flags will go.

Now take one of the “victory wing stingray crossed flags”, peel off the back, center it and press it on.

To the OP - I don't know if you're kidding or not, but those pictures look absolutely hideous. I would have to replace the entire visor after screwing them up that bad.

This has got to be a joke. Why would anyone do that? My wife would s**t a brick.

I have no idea what the big issue is with the decals. All cars have them. I could care less. Much anguish over nothing.

What the heck did you do? That appears to be the suede visor and typically the stickers come off pretty easily on suede.

If that first picture is the end result, this mod was a complete fail dude. Sorry.

I always find it odd that some of you guys like the look of the cheap di-noc cover over the labels. I'm not knocking you cause everyone has their own likes, but the di-noc is nowhere else on the veh and looks cheap as heck. Even if you have the carbon dash, the di-noc looks nothing like it.

Sorry, but the end result in that first pic is something I would never be able to live with. IMO, you ruined a perfectly good sunvisor.

I hate to add to the pile of "WTF?", but this is what is should look like with the micro-suede.

Did you actually damage the visor taking it off? Because, if you didn't, it may still be salvageable. I'm not sure what the white fibers are.
