A Camaro is nice, but certainly not a Corvette. Vettes are in a class all by itself. We don't have to race. They know we got it.

Spoken like a true Vette owner

No need to race anybody you already know you can win

Except, as already established in this thread, sometimes you can't.

Hence my sarcasm. The Mustang I traded in would have smoked my C7 and 95% of the ones on this board too. You never know what other people have, but chances are they love their car just as much as you love yours. Not very wise to act better.

The superiority complex with so many "car enthusiasts" from all different brands is tiresome. There is always a faster car out there, no matter what you're driving.

Yea it get's very tiresome, I've seen it on all sides being a car enthusiast. I've owned the imports and the Camaro. My Camaro as it sits is significantly faster than any stock Vette. I wouldn't waste my time on the street 'racing' one. The smug Oh-my-god look who's trying to race me stuff is a lame. I'm sure Z06 owners say the same thing when they see a LT1 pull up. And the guys in exotics just laugh at everyone. Just don't entertain them, I call it feeding the animals. ****'s not allowed at the zoo for a reason.

No kidding. I especially like the posts calling for special treatment at the dealer for Corvette owners. The most expensive vehicles on my dealer's lot aren't even Corvettes, they're a 1 ton dually optioned to the hilt. That's unless there is an odd Z06 waiting to be delivered.

They can ALL be FI'd. My plain jane 2007 LS2 Z51 Convertible had an Edelbrock SC on the top of the engine. It put down 550 RWHP. It would have given you pangs of inadequacy too.

You do not have a race car. You have a faster than most car but unless you want to play with the big boys, you're not gonna hang with EVERY car. Hellcat, Z06, ZL1, anything with forced induction, etc. So, go get a blow job!

Yes, I'd rather be blown. Just feels good.

He's right. Vettes are in a class by itself.

.....and no, I'm not Mr. Super Vette owner. I came from a 2005 GTO, a 2009 Vette, 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP, and two 2013 Mustang GTs. I don't own Vette shirts, jackets, luggage, golf club bags, cups, etc. I only own 2 blue Stingray caps.

We also have a 2014 Dodge Charger SRT Super Bee in the garage and I only own 1 Super Bee cap.

I'm not brand loyal, nor will I ever be. I also don't have any idea what my next car will be, however it won't be built either in Asia or Europe.

IMHO, the C7 Corvette just has 'it', and if anybody needs to know what 'it' is, I don't have time to explain.
